We are pleased to bring back some of our most popular boxes. All are 5/8 deep, but may be up to 3/4 deep at no extra charge. We do not offer custom boxes any longer. These are copper, with a slightly domed lid made with a hammer, not a press, just like the originals. A piece of linen will make the boxes food or tobacco safe and give you a nice place to show off some fine embroidery.
We've organized our boxes by a letter code. When ordering, give the letter code associated with the box shape & size you would like.

Handmade by Peter Goebel.
Small box measures 2 1/4 inches long by 1 1/2 wide. Large box measures  3 3/4 inches long by 1 1/2 wide.
When ordering, specify Type E or F.

Copper. From an 18th century silver original. It measures 4 1/8" long,1 1/2" wide and 5/8" deep.

Octagonal Brass and Copper Box (above)
Copied from a Dutch tobacco box, this version is made with a copper base, brass sides and a slightly domed copper lid. This little box stands out! It measures 3.5" long by 2.5" wide, and is 3/4" tall.
When ordering, specify Type N.

Oval Brass and Copper Box (above)
Made the same as our copper oval boxes, except with brass sides. Measures 3" long, 2.25" wide, and 3/4" deep. The lid is gently domed. A very pretty little box!

Fire Starting Kit with Chamberstick (above)
Deluxe! A fire starting kit with built-in chamberstick. Reproduced from a 1770-1830 original found in a larger 1830 box. This set is composed of a damper plate with a folding handle over a 3/4 inch candle socket which swivels out for use, and back in for storage. Copper with brass body.

Reproduction. Our newest little box mearures just 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 and is 3/4 of an inch deep.
Box is available in all-brass, all-copper or in the Dutch style, copper with brass body.
